A Sunny Day In Historic Siena, Italy.......

Our current temporary home-sit has us just twenty minutes outside the city of Siena, Italy, so we headed out to explore the city. While we've already been in and around Siena a few times already doing shopping, today we put on our tourist hats.  We followed the signs to the, "centro storico" or the historic part of the city.

Siena was first settled by the Etruscans (c.900-400 BC) and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today Siena is one of the most visited cities in all of Italy.  Before we landed our current house sit we had planned a trip over this way, so how cool is it that we now have a free place to stay too. From cathedral's to museums, crypts and more Siena is a must see for anyone visiting Tuscany.

As usual my wonderful husband loves to share our travel through photos.  Come along with us and enjoy our day in historic Siena......along the gringo trail.

Terry and Clyde are able to "Travel The World House Sitting"  and so can you!  We have created a website to help people who want to learn about house sitting.    Information for both the prospective house sitter and for someone who needs a house sitter.
