Another lazy day in Panama as we took off to do some exploring. Went to the very end of Punta Chame where we found a little fishing village on the water. The beach was covered in clean white sand and little fishing boats dotted the shoreline. The only humans besides ourselves were a few kite surfers way out in the water. Stopped for lunch at a nearby resort owned restaurant. Chatted with the owner and a few U.S. and Canadian expats at the next table before taking a walk on the beach. On the way back we stopped at Punta Chame Resort for a swim in the pool and a chat with some folks there.
Since we were close to Chame we stopped to see a friend who was just about to take an afternoon siesta. Instead he served up some drinks and we chatted away as the sunset over the horizon. The three of us then jumped in the car and headed over to Santa Clara for dinner.
Not much to say today so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! More beautiful beaches, breath taking horizons, good company and good food. And we start to realize that it's ok to have lazy days, full of simple pleasures. Making memories to last a lifetime.... along the gringo trail.
FYI, I love the photos of the Boats, while the tide is out. Most photos I remember are of boats bobbing at anchor, in the harbor..new perspective..Congrats....
